Bayramli made the remarks Wednesday during a briefing at the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, AzVision.az reports.
"Due to non-compliance with quarantine rules over the past week, the number of coronavirus cases has increased in the country. The number of people violating the rules is still high,” he said.
Bayramli noted that people aged from 2 to 89 are infected with the virus in Azerbaijan.
“If citizens do not comply with the rules of the special quarantine regime, then the appeal will be made to the country's leadership to tighten the measures. If citizens show patience during 2-3 weeks, they will be able to stop the spread of the infection and return to normal life,” he added.
